RMCAAT: Rajasthan Master in Computer Applications Admission Test

Rajasthan Master in Computer Applications Admission Test is a state level entrance test for candidates who want to get admission into MCA in various colleges in Rajasthan. Rajasthan Master in Computer Applications Admission Test (RMCAAT) is conducted by Rajasthan Technical University, Kota and is generally held in the Month of May/June.

RMCAAT Eligibility Criteria

The RMCAAT is open to all candidates under the age of 25 years. However, the candidates should be at least 18 years of age and must have completed their graduations (10+2+3 years duration) with at least 50% marks. Those who are appearing for their final year exam can also apply as long as they meet the above criteria and produce their mark sheets post the results are declared. For the SC/ ST/ OBC candidates, the cut off is 45%.

RMCAAT Domicile Criteria

The RMCAAT  is open to the candidates of Rajasthan Domicile only. You are eligible if you are-

• Yourself or born to natural parents (father/mother) is a bonafide resident of Rajasthan
• You have studied continuously as a regular student in recognized educational institutions in Rajasthan for the preceding five years up. This also includes the year in which you passed the qualifying examination.
• You are the son/daughter of either a serving employee or of a retired employee of Government of Rajasthan (including officers of All India Service borne on the State cadre of Rajasthan), Undertakings/ Corporations/ Improvement Trusts/ Municipal Boards/ Panchayat Samities / Co- operative Bodies duly constituted by the Government of Rajasthan. Statutory Bodies and Corporations formed under the Indian Companies Act incorporated in Rajasthan.

However, admission to BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur and other deemed and other private universities does not come under the same.

RMCAAT Application Process

If you meet the eligibility criteria for RMCAAT, then you have to get relevant forms under the guidelines of Government Engineering college & Technology, Bikaner. The form would be available online. On filling up the form, they also have to provide or attach a copy of the recent photographs along with other mentioned details.

The application procedures for the RMCAAT will begin around the month March- April and the form must be filled by the month of May. Rs. 1000 has to be deposited against the fees at nearest authorized Emitra Kiosk. You will get a receipt for the same. Once you get this receipt, then you can send the printed form to the concerned authority and make sure that you are keeping a copy of the same.

RMCAAT Exam Centers

RMCAAT Exam date will be announced soon and expected to be held in the month of June in Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kota, Bikaner and Jaipur.

RMCAAT Exam Pattern

• There will be a total number of questions: 200
• Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
• One mark for each right answer.
• No negative marking
• Sections: 03
• It is not necessary that the above order/ sequence are maintained in the question paper.
• The medium of RMCAAT will be English.
• You will get 2 hours to finish the same
