Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process

Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) is organized by Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) on behalf of the Government. It is a common admission process conducted through counselling for admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes leading to Bachelor’s degree in various engineering disciplines for government aided and private unaided technical institutions of Rajasthan except BITS Pilani and MNIT Jaipur. RTU releases REAP application form online typically in the first week of June, every year.

REAP Eligibility

Candidates willing to appear for REAP exam need to comply with the exam eligibility norms. Only those candidates who comply with REAP eligibility norms will be allowed to appear for the engineering admission process.

Academic Qualifications

The minimum eligibility criteria for candidates willing to seek admission into the BTech programmes at colleges in Rajasthan through REAP is as stated below:

Candidates should have cleared JEE Main exam
Candidates should be a pass with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category) in class XII board exams
The affiliations of the institution should be from a recognised board like Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education or the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)

Domicile Criteria

Only those candidates with a valid domicile certificate of Rajasthan can appear for the REAP counselling process. A candidate’s domicile status will be determined on the basis of the below-mentioned norms:
