Rajasthan is a fast moving state and has evolved itself in various spheres. Rajasthan has also seen massive changes in the field of education over the years. Higher Education in Rajasthan

When it comes to higher education of Rajasthan, the first city that comes to or minds is Kota because of its coaching institutes. It has a number of coaching institutes where every year children from all over India appear for engineering and medical examinations. There are more than 40 engineering colleges in Rajasthan where BITS Pilani tops the list. IIR Jodhpur, Banasthali University, Government Engineering College Ajmer and LNM Institute are some of the top engineering colleges of Rajasthan. SMS Medical College, Government Medical college Kota, Sardar Patel Medical College Bikaner and JLN Medical Coollege Ajmer are some of the reputed medical colleges of Rajasthan.
